Coxinha

Coxinha @stefanilolli
Coxinha is a kind of savory, very typical in Brazil.

We meet coxinha in cafeterias and snack bars.

Coxinha is made of wheat flour and chicken, basically.

I'm addicted to coxinha and I already ate 5 coxinhas in one day. I hope we eat coxinha together when you come to visit me.

Coxinhas are waiting for you and me too.

Mandioca

@Stéfanilolli  Mandioca: Manioc is a woody shrub native to South America.  In Brazil it is a typical food, which was introduced by the indians.  The manioc of this post picture is from a small farm localized in Minas Gerais state, Brazil, in the city of Mirabela. Small farms have this culture: planting maniocs around their houses. We can cook manioc with meat, rib, (costela com mandioca), manioc and hen (frango caipira com mandioca), and we have manioc flour (farinha de mandioca). In Rio it is said aimpim, in Minas: mandioca and in the North and Northeast: macaxeira.
